Cosmetic non Caucasian rhinoplasty surgery was carried out by Dr Solomon Toronto Canada Head and Neck surgeon practicing Facial Plastic Surgery.

She also underwent a dorsal gortex graft. The graft provided augmentation of her bridge which lengthened and refined her nose. Pre and Post op rhinoplasty images demonstrate the changes achieved with surgery.

Rib cartilage was utilized to rebuild her nose. Notice the dramatic improvement in her nasal bridge and length. Dr. Solomon feels that this type of case is often extremely difficult but often very satisfying to the surgeon and patient.

This women underwent rhinoplasty surgery a number of years ago. Her results were less than ideal. Her result looked unnatural and out of proportion to her other facial features. She also developed severe breathing difficulty after her initial procedure. Revision Rhinoplasty was performed by Dr. Solomon Facial Cosmetic Facial Surgeon in Toronto Canada. Her nose was rebuild and improved in shape and size. Cartilage from her nose was used to reshape her nostrils and bridge of her nose. The side view demonstrates dramatic improvement in nasal proportions and aesthetics. The bottom view demonstrates the dramatic improvement achieved in her nasal tip.

Comments about Revision Rhinoplasty Dr. Philip Solomon

Revision rhinoplasty is recognized as one of the most complex cosmetic surgical procedures. The technical difficulty in revision rhinoplasty surgery is based on the complexity in working with scar tissue and often overly removed cartilaginous structures. The surgeons goal is to try and rebuild and reshape the nose into a natural appearing and functional structure. These two cases demonstrate examples of revision rhinoplasty surgery that were successfully redone by Dr. Philip Solomon. Every case of revision rhinoplasty surgery is unique. A multitude of surgical options may exist and a patient and surgeon generally will discuss the pros and cons of each. After reviewing surgical treatment options a patient will make an informed decision regarding which surgical procedure makes most sense for their situation. In certain cases a surgeon will utilize synthetic material such as gortex or medpore to rebuild the nose. In other cases a surgeon will prefer to use a patients one tissue from the nose, ear or rib to rebuild and reshape the nose. Ultimately the patient has to decide which method offered by their surgeon they are most comfortable with. As this procedure is complicated it is best done by a surgeon with extensive experience with rhinoplasty surgery and revision rhinoplasty surgery.
